For over 20 years Tammy Lovejoy has developed a client-focused process that embraces personal growth and efficacy as the guideline for successful goals-achievement in a client’s therapeutic process. Tammy is adamant in her belief that choices leading to great change are possible for everyone willing to commit to self-development. Acknowledging barriers of family patterns, substance use/abuse and involvement in the legal system, Ms. Lovejoy encourages clients to evaluate core-beliefs and, through increased knowledge of individual and environmental influences, choose better pathways to improved lives and empowerment.
Additionally, Ms. Lovejoy is a dedicated advocate for victims of domestic violence, abuse survivors, as well as victims and survivors of accidents involving drunk drivers. She frequently speaks at MADD Panel meetings, contributes to local legislative efforts to prevent drinking and driving, and visits local schools for presentations on the effects of alcohol on individual lives. She is a motivational-speaker, especially in relating to school-aged children or corporate employees, on how to evaluate choices/thinking to prevent serious consequences in their own and others’ lives. She believes that at every stage of development people can grow through improved choices; that people can meet their potential.Ms. Lovejoy offers Mental Health and Substance Abuse Evaluations for court purposes, individualized therapy and is excited to have added EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) to her service-model.
